Recommended Pebble Coverage:
For optimal results, it is generally advised that the pebble layer in pots be between 10–20mm thick. Excessively thick layers (over 30mm) may compress the potting media and reduce root-zone porosity. However, a standard layer within the recommended range is typically well-tolerated by most plants.
